hunny came across some tilt-shift photographs that i want to try out too..... well, not actually get the lens but learn how to fake the miniature look and feel.....
these aren't my photos... so credits go back to the original photographers named under each image & shown on this site http://designyoutrust.com/2008/10/30/awesome-tilt-shift-miniature-faking-photography/
i'd like to keep a note of the books i've read because i'm so forgetful :)

a few peeps have been asking me about film formats and what full format, medium format and 35mm means. wikipedia explains this better than I do, so I'll leave this up to them. the first item on film format is a general overview, and then the next pages get down to the specifics of each format. most people will be most familiar with the 35mm film - which is your standard film size that you get in a roll for the common film point and shoot cameras.
dad has some old nikkor lenses that I'm thinking of using on my D80 and I wasn't sure of the compatibility. so, like I always do, I consult google (the modern day oracle!) and found some good websites that are encyclopedic in its knowledge and very helpful.
i couldn't resist grabbing my camera and following the stunning celina around to take these photos. she's almost 2-years old and such a gorgeous little princess in the making!
