a few peeps have been asking me about film formats and what full format, medium format and 35mm means. wikipedia explains this better than I do, so I'll leave this up to them. the first item on film format is a general overview, and then the next pages get down to the specifics of each format. most people will be most familiar with the 35mm film - which is your standard film size that you get in a roll for the common film point and shoot cameras.

lens compatibility to nikon dslrs
dad has some old nikkor lenses that I'm thinking of using on my D80 and I wasn't sure of the compatibility. so, like I always do, I consult google (the modern day oracle!) and found some good websites that are encyclopedic in its knowledge and very helpful.
