crochet ripple throw

last night, i finally finished my ripple throw. this throw was my biggest crochet project & it has taken me three winters to complete on & off (i had to squeeze in some other projects in between). out of the things i've made, this is the first item i've made for myself & its the second thing that belongs in our home (the first was the amineko that i made for the mister a couple of christmases ago). the autumn colours i chose for this is to go with our autumn/winter doona set. whilst the throw is big enough to cover a single bed completely, its meant to decorate the end of our bed. i must give credit to attic24's neat ripple pattern. the instructions were so easy to understand, the pattern is beautiful and unlike granny squares when you are done, you don't have to sew squares together!

i'm feeling very light on my feet right now, as i have no more unfinished projects. however, i will soon start another project as there are a few babies due that i have something special in mind for.

today is my fur-baby's bday. it is timely that he should also be in this set of photos.
